Not many people know this, but every Tuesday, iTunes debuts a free single of the week. The single of the week is a new song that is available for a free download. Past singles have included Show Me What I’m Looking For by Carolina Liar, Fireflies by Owl City, and Animal by Neon Trees. I downloaded all of these songs and was surprised to hear them on the radio several weeks/months later as I smugly informed friends that I had already known this song.
With that being said, let me present to you this week’s free song: Colours by Grouplove. This is an alternative song (according to iTunes, some people do not agree with their genre classification) and it is very interesting sounding. I like it very much, but you have to listen about halfway through the song before you can really get into it (at least that was the case for me).
